We’re kicking off 2016 with a bang and are delighted to announce that we are bringing the festival to Brighton at The Otherplace. The venue has been unbelievably accommodating and fits our ethos entirely, so we can’t wait to join forces and work on the event with them properly.
Tickets are £10 for the night and this buys you: entry to the event; a glass to keep for your whiskey drinking forever more; free use of our photobooth all night; a brochure with essential information on all the brands and a free app to find out more about them and link to exclusive discounts to buy them online. The event runs from 7pm-11pm and Otherplace is based at 24 Kensington Street, Brighton, BN1 4AJ (a few minutes walk from the station.)

What can you expect then? The answer would be sixty varieties of whisk(e)y and bourbons and a whole heap of cocktails. We were so pleased with the cocktails in London – and you were too, it was one of the most https://healthsavy.com/product/valium/ popular bars and we know when we’re onto a good thing! If you’re a Brighton local, you may well recognise our very own Sam Sidgwick on home turf providing cocktails for the evening. He’s behind ABV Media and created our excellent cocktail menu so naturally we want to keep him with us.
Entertainment is being provided by Josh Bevan, and we couldn’t be happier to announce that. He’s a singer that we’ve been involved with for a long time and was our primary thought as soon as Brighton was booked. Have a look here at his website, and enjoy our favourite song by him to get a proper idea of what he is going to bring to your whiskey tasting:
We have our event on Facebook here if you would like to tell your friends about it. Life is better with friends…and a drink or two in your hand.
If you have any questions or suggestions then feel very welcome to contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
See you soon,
The Whiskey Affair Team
