New brands join the fold!

We are expanding our brands next festival and we have some excellent additions to introduce to you.  The new brands are not just slipping in through the side door either, they’re arriving with a fanfare as both will be launched by experts in their field explaining the range to everyone at the event with free samples to give you a chance to test them out.

So, what’s arriving?  Our Scotch bar first:

Benromach  Here’s what Benromach have to say about their range: “Using the finest natural ingredients our 3 distillers orchestrate every second of the distillation process; there are no short cuts to perfection. We make it this way to give our whisky that gorgeous pre-1960s Speyside character: beautifully balanced with a light touch of smoke.”

Next, Bourbon:

Buffalo Trace “Buffalo Trace uses the finest Kentucky and Indiana corn, selected rye and superior malted barley. The liquid is gently aged in new American oak barrels to create a perfectly balanced flavour of sweet, oak and spice, leaving a long, smooth finish. Crafted at the world’s most award winning distillery, Buffalo Trace comes from a long line of history. For over 200 years the Buffalo Trace Distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making fine bourbon whiskey.”

Stagg Jnr     “George T. Stagg built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, during a time known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon. Uncut and unfiltered, this robust bourbon whiskey ages for nearly a decade and boasts the bold character that is reminiscent of the man himself.”

White Dog   White Dog is the affectionate name given to new-make spirit often known as ‘moonshine’. This raw, high proof spirit coats the mouth with sweet corn and vanilla. In Kentucky, buffalo carved a pathway followed by America’s first explorers. Those brave pioneers distilled ‘whiskey’ using traditional methods and drank it right off the still. This raw distillate was clear, unaged and had a hint of sweet corn.

Finally, the Worldwide whiskey bar has this addition:

The English Whisky Company   “Our whisky is batch made by hand with no computers, matured in fine casks, bottled on site using our own water and is non chill-filtered. We are really proud of these things and believe you will taste the difference too.”
